Traveling solo can be intimidating, however, Linda Xie did a phenomenal job of being one step ahead every time and ensuring ease and comfort, as best as possible. From being picked up from the airport, checked in, and then every stop along the way, Linda was positive and thoughtful. It was a wonderful experience and I would do it again!

Our tour in Zhangjiajie was Amazin...so beautiful city, the montains and the park with incredibile nature, also the local food was very good. But to get all this things we were so lucky to have our guide SUNNY...he show us everything in the right way and he was the best!!! So professional, patient and taking care always about us. We really enjoy this trip thanks to him...thankyou Sunny!!! The driver was always puntual and professional. Our stop in Xi’an was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our China tour. Visiting the Terracotta Army was absolutely breathtaking, Overall, the organization by Travel China Guide was spotless and perfectly smooth. Our guide, Jakye Dong guided us through the rich history of Xi’an with enthusiasm and precision, sharing fascinating facts, stories, and insights.
Thanks to him, we not only explored the city’s most iconic landmarks, but also discovered hidden gems and local spots that made our visit feel authentic and memorable.

Really enjoyed this tour with our guide Carol. She was very knowledgeable and explained the history of everything. Carol also made sure everyone was well hydrated with unlimited complementary water in the extremely hot weather. After the Terra Cotta Museum we stopped for an optional lunch at your own expense at a Chinese restaurant which was really good. At the City Wall, you could rent a bike to ride around but everyone opt out of this as it was extremely hot outside. You can be dropped off at the Muslim Bazaar which was really interesting and should be visited. Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was great, it started around 8 a.m. because pandas are only active when the temperature is comfortably low. There are 3 different panda shelters in Chengdu. We visited the breeding shelter where they have giant pandas, both adults and baby pandas, and red pandas. We stayed for a couple of hours then after lunch we went to the Jinsha museum, also very interesting, and after an hour and a half we went for a walk to Kuanzhai alley, 4 very touristic streets of Chengdu. Our guide for the day was Birdy, a very knowledgeable, nice and friendly young lady, who took very good care of us and was so sweet she even gave us a very cool gift.

We had a super awesome time over three days in Zhangjiajie with Jason! saw the peaks, got an awesome hike up the golden whip stream, hiked the glass bridge canyon and pinnacled at Tienmen mountain. Jason was an incredible asset to our stress-free adventure and if more family and friends come over in the future it will definitely be under his wing! :)

We had a very nice day visiting the forbidden city and the great wall. Our guide Helen was profesional, helpful, cheerful and patient with everyone. Even despite problems with long queues and a closed of part of the great wall. Helen kept her cool and handlede it with a smile and positive energy. She worked hard to make sure we got the day we were promised! Her English is very good and there were no problems communicating. She gave out plenty of historical, cultural and other exciting facts, which made the trip a very good learnings experience. We would very much recommend this trip to anyone interested in a very good and eventful day! Thank you Helen for a good day!!

Our tour in Xi'an was so perfect, the city and the Army Terracotta is so beautiful. Our guide Celine was just perfect, she took care always everything about us and she is very good prepared, we got from her always very good information about all the places we were, she has a big culture and speak very good english, thankyou Celine for a nice experience.

What an amazing way to explore the highlights of Beijing! Despite the free water provided, I would reccomend bringing your own bottled water in the morning as queues can be very long at Tianamen Square with little/no access to purchase drinks (especially if you're travelling outside the free pickup area since the water is only available on the bus). Thankfully, our guide Helen was incredibly helpful and accommodating and quickly escorted us to water/bathroom facilities when available. She also provided many interesting facts about the history of the locations and guided us to quieter areas to take better photos. She was an amazing guide and I cannot praise her enough. Unfortunately, the first day of my tour was cancelled due to weather concerns, however TravelChinaGuide fully refunded that day of the tour as well as organising tickets for me so that I could explore the locations myself. Further to this, the Mutianyu section of the wall was sadly closed however the Badaling section was extraordinary and definitely not a wasted visit. Thank you Helen and thank you TravelChinaGuide.

My experience with Helen was absolutely awesome. From pickup from my hotel to drop off afterwards my experience with Helen was fantastic. The bus was comfortable and nicely airconditioned and she gave us water bottles and chocolate to keep us going. With the tour itself she explained the history of the places we visited very thorough making sure to stop and explain. Unfortunately due to the weather we couldnt get to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and got diverted to Badaling instead. Still great tho! Took lots of pics and videos as she allowed us to have free time for that and to stop at places to get food to eat. The drop off back to my hotel she organized a Didi taxi for me due to traffic it wouldve been faster than the bus. A long day but great day all thanks to Helen :)

Would highly recommend this tour from start to finish. We were arriving by overnight train from Beijing and the company gave very clear meeting instructions and stored our luggage for the day. Carol, our guide, spoke impeccable English, was kind and funny, knew all the spots to take good photos at the terrace cottage warriors, and answered all questions knowledgeably. Overall couldn’t rate this tour highly enough.

We thought this was going to be another overly hyped touristic place, but we were never so wrong. The views are simply out of this world, and Phoenix our guide is amazing. She is on time and very clear in explaining what to expect (there will be no toilets in 1 hour, no food in 30 mins), so we can always prepare what to do. I highly recommend going on this trip!

Family of 8 including 2 seniors and 2 babies were traveling from July 12th to July 25th in a small group in Chengdu, Chongqing, Cruise on Changjiang river, Shanghai and Beijing. Helen took us on a wonderfully tour and was very informative and really taught us a lot of interesting things about the sights we visited and Chinese history and culture. I do not speak the language but Helens English was amazing. So was a breeze for all of us to understand. It was really great to see a few of the major sites in around Beijing and even when the great wall was closed because of rain and slips Helen had reorganized a special trip out there the very next day. This tour was amazing and well worth the money and I have no problem recommending this tour and our tour guide Helen to anyone else and will hopefully be using her in the future!

We had an excellent tour of Xi’an with Celine as our guide, covering the Terracotta Warriors, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the ancient city wall. Celine was knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive throughout—bringing each site to life with historical insight and a warm, personal touch. The tour was well-paced and thoughtfully organised, making it easy for our family to enjoy the highlights of the city in a single day. Highly recommended.

Lemi was an excellent guide and made our tour a great experience. Being the first time I have used a tour company because I had limited time in which to see as much as I could. This company was great both the driver and the guide Roger, made visiting all the incredible sites Xi'an has to offer easy. Considering it is peak season with crowds of holiday makers it's a credit to them that they achieved this. As the first chapter to my time in China, I was thoroughly excited to see what Beijing had to offer and I was not disappointed. Barry, the tour guide, was extremely friendly and accommodated to all of my family's needs. During this trip, we visited famous landmarks such as the forbidden city, Great wall of China and the Summer palace. The vibrant views were accompanied by a rich history, narrated clearly by Barry. Any questions that we had were well answered and we were able to get a taste of key dishes native to Beijing, such as the world famous Peking duck. Overall, this experience is one that shouldn't be missed.

Guilin was a very beautiful experience. Our guide, Arthur, was very informative and knew about all the local landmarks and cuisines. Most importantly, he was very friendly and accomodating and this made the trip very enjoyable. We were able to view beautiful landmarks such as Elephant Hill as well as key geological attractions during the river cruise. The beautiful sights combined with am informed guide made this trip one to remember.

Our 8 day China trip with our tour consultant Emily, tour guides; Laura(Beijing), Lily(X’ian), Rose(Shanghai), Wally( Beijing) went smooth and hassle free despite losing one of us losing our passport! Emily and Lily went out of their way to help us and making sure trip continues without any disruption. It could very easily have been a nightmare but it didn’t.

We visited Great Wall, forbidden city, Tina men square, bhudist temple, old city, jade factory, aerobics show, Olympic village in Beijing. Laura was a great host.
In X’ian it was Muslim quarter, grand mosque, terracotta warriors, old city wall. Lily was amazing.
In Shanghai we did museum, yu garden, river cruise and traditional lunch. Rose was great guide.

We took this half-day mini group tour covering the Terracotta Warriors Museum, Great Wall, Wild Goose Pagoda, and Muslim Quarter and it was amazing! Our tour guide Tracy was wonderful—she was very clear in her explanations and managed our time efficiently to avoid long waits in crowded areas. She guided us smoothly through each site, ensuring we made the most of our visit without unnecessary delays.

Our tour with Celine was phenomenal, she had so much knowledge about the area and the history of the monuments we saw. Terracotta Army is a must-see and she knew all the best places to stop for photos! Giant Wild Goose Pagoda was also beautiful :) thank you Celine!

Mary our guide brought us around Beijing for the last 2 days. She was very good humoured with a great personality. She had in-depth knowledge of the sights and continuously monitored that our group was following and ok. The places she suggested on both days for food had a wide variety of tasty dishes. Her energy, enthusiasm and joy made our two days in Beijing very special.

We had a great two day tour around Bejing with Queena. First day we went to Summer Palace and Great Wall with a very tasty Chinese restaurant for lunch. The next day we went to Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven, with a fantastic peking duck place foenlunch. It was a great two day with a lot of knowledge and fun facts from Queena. She showed us photos and information on her ipad so that we knew what to look out for when we peeked into different rooms. Make your trip to Bejing hassle free and book a tour or two. Just remember if it's in the summer take a sun umbrella and electric fan, it's too too hot!

I rarely write reviews but this tour led by our exceptional guide Helen deserves to be given 5 Stars. Firstly Tiananmen Square, then the Forbidden City, followed by a trip out to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Helen was enthusiatic, energetic and most considerate. The pace of the tour is fast as there is so much to see in one day. I loved every minute and it was the highlight of my time in Beijing. Helen was most informative about the places we visited and the history.

Lingyin temple and tea village were very interesting. Visited a tea farmer’s house to learn all about growing and preparing tea, which was also interesting. West Lake is pretty, but not a must do. Did not go to the Six Harmonies Pagoda even though description says it is part of the tour. Our guide Susan was really nice, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. She was not aware that we were supposed to go to the pagoda.

The organization is very good, they try very hard to rispect the schedule. Lisa, the tour guide, is well prepared and funny. They picked us up at the hotel around 7:30 and after meeting the others we went to Tiananmen square, then we visited the Forbidden City. We finished around 11:30 and after that we went to the Mutianyu Great Wall. We had lunch in a nice restorant, with a buffet and then we went up to the Great Wall. We stayed there 2 hours and a half then they drove us back to the hotel. We were all very happy in the end. Absolutely recommended.
